What Are Dermal Fillers?

Volume, Contour, And Balance.

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments designed to restore volume, enhance facial contours, soften lines, and improve facial balance.

Most of the fillers we use are made with hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the skin. Fillers vary in their softness, flexibility, structure, and longevity — rather than relying on one product for every area, we select the filler best suited to your anatomy and treatment goals.

Our approach is conservative and anatomy-driven, with the goal of creating natural results that still look like you.

A Thoughtfully Selected Portfolio.

Because no single filler is best for everything. Different products behave differently within the face — some provide softness and flexibility, while others offer more structure, support, or projection. We maintain a wide range of dermal fillers so we can choose the right product for the right patient, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Which product — and where — is a consultation decision, made around your anatomy, treatment area, and goals.

If we don't routinely carry a particular filler, it is often because we prefer another product for that purpose. Looking for something specific? Just ask — if appropriate, we can obtain a particular product for your treatment.

Not Everyone Needs Filler

We don't believe everyone needs filler — and we don't believe more filler means a better result. In some cases, another injectable, laser, skin treatment, or no treatment at all may be a better choice.

Anatomy First

Your provider will evaluate your facial anatomy, proportions, skin quality, and goals before recommending treatment — and would rather build gradually than chase a predetermined number of syringes.

Individualized, Always

Product and technique are recommended around your anatomy, skin quality, goals, and available clinical evidence. Some uses of dermal fillers may be off-label — meaning not FDA-approved for the specific treatment area or technique being discussed.

Common Questions

Asked & Answered.

Will I look overfilled or unnatural? +

That is never the goal. We take a conservative, anatomy-driven approach to filler, using the amount and product needed to create balance while preserving what makes you look like you.

How do you decide which filler to use? +

Different fillers have different properties — some are softer and more flexible, while others provide greater structure, support, or projection. Your provider will select the product based on your anatomy, treatment area, goals, and desired result.

How much filler will I need? +

It depends. The amount needed varies considerably based on your anatomy, treatment area, existing volume loss, and goals. We would rather build gradually than use more product simply to reach a predetermined number of syringes.

Does filler hurt? +

Most patients tolerate treatment very well. Many fillers contain lidocaine, and additional comfort measures may be used depending on the treatment area.

How much downtime should I expect? +

Most patients return to normal activities quickly, but swelling, tenderness, redness, and bruising are common. Swelling can be more noticeable in certain areas, particularly the lips.

When will I see my final result? +

You’ll notice a difference immediately, but filler needs time to settle and swelling needs time to resolve. Depending on the treatment area, your final result may take approximately two weeks or longer to fully appreciate.

How long does filler last? +

Longevity varies by product, treatment area, amount injected, and individual factors. Some fillers last several months, while others may provide improvement for a year or longer.

Can filler be dissolved? +

Most of the fillers we use are made with hyaluronic acid and can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase when medically appropriate. Your provider can discuss this with you in more detail.

What if I want a specific filler you don't carry? +

Ask us. We maintain a broad, hand-selected collection of fillers we trust and prefer for different purposes. If we don’t routinely carry a particular product, there is often another we prefer for that indication. If a specific product is appropriate for you, we may be able to obtain it.

Your Treatment Plan

Your Path, Step By Step.

I

Consultation

We evaluate your facial anatomy, proportions, skin quality, and areas of volume loss, then talk about what you would — and wouldn't — like to change.

II

Product Selection

There is no single best filler. We select the product, amount, and placement based on what we want to accomplish — softness, structure, support, contour, or subtle volume.

III

Treatment

Filler is carefully placed with your anatomy and overall facial balance in mind. We don't believe every area needs to be treated simply because it can be.

IV

Results & Maintenance

You'll see improvement immediately, with results refining as swelling resolves and the filler settles. Future treatment is based on how your results evolve — not an arbitrary schedule.
